In cooperation with LPO Arkitekter Svalbard, and as part of their project Rett Plass Rett Form, the SSSI conducted 9 focus groups in May and June 2020 with inhabitants of Longyearbyen to find out how people perceive and use the town, and how they envision the town’s future development. Together with LPO, we have applied for funding from the Svalbard Environmental Protection Fund to organise an exhibition and public presentation of the findings, possibly in January 2021.
