A new paper about sustainable tourism in Svalbard has just been published in the journal Polar Record. The paper presents a methdology and theoretical framework for studying how the tourism industry on Svalbard might balance the competing demands of economic growth and environmental governance. It is the first published paper of the forthcoming collection of articles “Changing Svalbard”.
